The River Basin Railroad (AAR: "RBAR") is an HO scale freelanced regional railroad that operates within the lower Midwest, operating on spun-off Illinois Central and other class I territory. As the name implies, the Carrier follows the Mississippi River and serves a variety of heavy and light industries, as well as barge-to-rail transload operations. Hills, curves, poor drainage, and heavy vegetation dominate the landscape and create a very scenic yet sometimes challenging operation.

AMTK 90215 rolled out of the shops on Sept 26, 2012.

NO PARKING
Signage laid out in MS word and printed on "regular" paper, then applied to small strips of foil insulation tape as a backing material. Light weathering applied using watered-down acrylic craft paint.
CHAIN LINK FENCING
Low-cost security: piano wire from some long-forgotten project, tulle, and a single strand of 18AWG wire wrapped around a bamboo skewer. Posts are on 8' centers and height without barbed wire is 6'...probably not as tall as a commercial application should be though.
Small drops of superglue hold it all together.

UNWEATHERED
After being inspired by Jim over at the JSSX Railway, I finally built up the courage to make my own chain-link fencing.
